Earn 3 credits for your prior knowledge and professional experience around neurodiversity.
The full neurodiversity course addresses:

Understanding of the historical context of a range of federal disability categories in the United States

The historical context of each disability from traditional pathological, social, and cultural perspectives

How to take a strength-based neuro-diverse and acceptance perspective

How impairments are linked to an individual’s neural wiring
-
How “disability” is a term society creates and how unequal power dynamics and social injustices impact individuals with diverse abilities.
To document your familiarity with these concepts, you will respond to three prompts aligned to the course outcomes. You will have one month to complete your response. You can have open access to standard resources as you work. You may not use AI generators to draft or complete your responses.
Upon successful completion of the exam, students will be awarded 3 credits and will be billed $100 per credit payable through Navigator.
