The full Think Like an Educator course addresses:

Critical reading and reading proficiency in topics related to educational policy and practice

Principles of textual analysis

Analysis and insight into the U.S. educational system
To document your expertise, you will:

Read up to five short pieces written by foundational educational theorists

Select two theorists for your application work

Take a provided lesson plan and modify it to reflect the approach of your selected theorists

Annotate the lesson plan to explicitly name how you are applying the theorists approach in the lesson plan
You will have one month to complete your response. You can have open access to standard resources as you work. You may not use AI generators to draft or complete your responses.
Note: This challenge exam is valid for only one credit. It can be repeated once for one additional credit if new theorists are selected.
Upon successful completion of the exam, students will be awarded 1 credit and billed $100 per credit payable through Navigator.
