Introduction to Business Management

New Date: Saturdays, May 11 & 18, 2019

The Enterprise Center at Salem State University

Participants will learn fundamental business skills with real world application; specifically, the basics of ownership, entrepreneurship, management, marketing and financial literacy.  Business management skills enhance the ability to define and build a clear business advantage. The workshop presents how to set the infrastructure, maximize key resources, and manage the big picture, and define key performance indicators.  Using good judgment and effective problem-solving skills based on a sound design all have an effect on the bottom line. Participants will learn how to enhance their ability to create and influence business operations and provide the additional edge that will lead to long lasting success.

NOTE: A parking permit will be emailed to all registered/paid participants shortly before the class date. 


In-Person Class Refund Policy: 100% refund before the first class meeting; 50% before the second class meeting. No refunds after the second class meeting.

Online Class Refund Policy:  In the case of a Salem State Online class, 100% refund before the scheduled start date. No refunds once the Salem State Online class begins.
