Full course description
Time Management and Work-Life Balance for Professionals and Entrepreneurs
Wednesdays, April 29 - June 3, 2020
Salem State University
When you start a new chapter in your life, whether it's entrepreurship, solopreneurship, or a new set of responsibilities in your job, your life can become hectic. Without a strategy you may find yourself being constantly busy, but not very productive. In the end, how you manage your time can be more of a factor in your success or failure than the greatness of your idea or your hard-earned skills. This course will teach you the fundamental concepts of time management and the basic strategies of work-life balance.
- We'll introduce something called a time budget, which works much like your financial budget.
- We'll learn about schedules and routines.
- We'll do extensive planning to make sure that the things you accomplish are the things you should be accomplishing.
- We'll learn what goes into a successful day, and how to make it all work for you.
You'll have homework, and come prepared to share!
